Back in may, we informed you that the 74th Airborne March will not take place in it's original form. However, we will offer a nice alternative for our dedicated walkers.

From August 2nd to September 26th will it be possible for you as individual walker to walk the Alternative 74th Airborne March at your own convenience and when you walk the march you can get a medal or wing. You can buy a ticket at our website and decide for yourself when you want to walk. Keep in mind that is not possible to get a ticket for a group, the Alternative Airborne March is only for small groups such as family or friends.

The tickets for the Alternative Airborne March will be €5,00 apiece. When you buy a ticket we will need the next information: your name, address, email address and how many times you walked the Airborne March. After buying the ticket you can decide when you want to walk and what distance you want to walk (10, 15, 25 or 40 km). You will receive your medal or wing by post by the end of October at the latest, so that you can add it to your collection.

This year, you can choose to start the March at any point along your desired route. We work with the app Wandelen, which is able to guide you along your desired route. You can find instructions to download and setup this app on your ticket.

We ask for your co-operation to follow the local rules and guidlines pertaining to COVID-19 at the time. Please also keep in mind that there will be no facilities like toilets, food trucks or medical services along the route.

We would like to bring the Airborne cemetary and the Airborne Museum to your attention as must-visit special locatoins to reflect on our heritage.
