The 78th Airborne March: a day to remember!
On 6 September, the King's Commissioner of Gelderland opened the 78th Airborne March. Thousands of walkers walked side by side in commemoration, to meet and to exercise. At 11 a.m., the Last Post sounded, after which march leader Hans van Kranenburg gave the official starting signal for the impressive parade.

With a record number of 36,343 walkers, this was an unforgettable edition. Never before have so many people participated, a milestone we have achieved together! The solidarity along the way, the emotions, the presence of the veterans and the contribution of no fewer than 960 musicians made this edition unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who walked, cooperated and sympathised. You make the Airborne March something unforgettable every year. Remembering, realising and experiencing together.
